First-time home buyer programs in Montréal

Montreal's Home Purchase Assistance Program is the largest municipal first-home grant in Canada. New-build buyers can receive up to $15,000 in non-repayable assistance, and families with children can add a welcome tax refund of up to $7,000.

Lump-sum financial assistance for first-time buyers purchasing new homes in Montreal. Amount depends on household type, home price, location, and environmental certification.

What else to know
